Original 541st Chronicles #7: Past and Present

The next one will have plenty more action and special effects. This is just plot development Smile . A cookie to anyone who can guess what is going on in the four first slides.

Make your pictures smaller, some text disappears because they are too big. Nice comic though. Smile

I really like the bedroom and the bar area! That is pretty awesome! Nice work on that, and the dream animation too!

Meh, not as good as your other ones. I really don't like all the language at the beginning, and you REALLY need to work on your caption placing.

Overall, it had some great humor in it as well, but just keep working on it.

Heh, we need a name for "the lass in charge of the 815th Corps." Razz Comic-wise, work on positioning and colouring of captions and try a few variations on dialogue - sometimes it doesn't really come across as natural.

Also, why is it the 'Origional' 541st Chronicles?

How so? It didn't clip out unless I wanted it to, and it didn't obstruct characters or important items.

I'll stick with black and white, but if you could expatiate on the lack of... natural-ness... It'd be appreciated.

Doh Wink ! And I've noticed all the "Chronicles" lately....

Thanks for the feedback folks! Not much I can do about it being not as good as my others. Needed some character building. The next one 'ought to have some nice effects if I get it right Smile !

Didn't know which caption came first. Here is a tip, go from Left to Right, or Top to Bottom, or both. That is what comic writers take into consideration while making the captions, it causes so much less confusion.

I tried working with that early on, but didn't take into account where I would place text so I could manuever the figures according to that. I'll have to write out my scripts and plot from now on (or after ther eighth, for I have already started that).

I love it Sialboats! I really like the flashback, though you could combine it with some black and white!

Can't wait for some action!

Wonderful work as always, finally a third character! W00T! I didn't get that the Colonel was also the guy with the scout armour, thanks for clearing that up!
