Does anyone except Jake think this piece would be good on the sides?

In orange maybe. But I already said what I thought about the MOC.

If you can find those pieces in orange Jinja, I think that would work well!

Exo-Force has them. Several I believe. Most had stickers that you were suppose to put on them.

Only in that big orange tank. I think my friend has that one in his attic, so I may be in luck.

Just be lazy and paint over it really carefully and smoothly.

That's a Bricklink image, not something in my collection. The only ones I have are currently in Boba Fett's Slave I, and I really don't want to annoy Fett. In other news, the friend I mentioned has agreed to let me buy the big ornj tank off of him for cheap. I guess I'll pick it up Saturday when I go round to hijack his copy of The Force Unleashed.

Anyway, looks like I'll have to dig out my ISD (now the Outrider alt-model) to nick two bley wing plates, so I'd best get cracking!

Almost-month-old bump! I've taken into account most of your comments (y'know, apart from the stupid ones ) and revamped the starfighter. The nose has been elongated, the angles have been smoothed out, there are guns on the wings, I'm steadily replacing grey with bley and I've added a 1-stud wide SNOT-y bit between the cockpit and engines, which is being greebled slowly but surely. I'll post pictures soon, as I'm feeling motivated tonight, and then I'll see what you've got to say before I start buying and *GASP* painting new pieces (gorram rare rounded slopes!). Brace yourselves for hypersp-... uh, my next post!

Well, I built people up for a new post with 'for my next post' and I didn't want to disappoint!

Anyhoo, not the best pictures ever, but they get the general idea across. Oh, and ignore the dark grey on the nose between the two curved slopes, that's where I'll put some rounded slopes later.

So it's still a WIP. Looks really great, and very well done. The colors are great, and the stickers are also nice (on the windshield) The wierd slnated botom is also a nice touch!

That looks much better! But can we have a shot of the engines?

I absoloutly love how you did the cockpit. And the colors look really nice too, as does the entire rest of the ship! Good work!

Zeph: Thanks! Although the 'slanted bottom' is just because I haven't bothered to make new landing gear yet.

Nice. Sort the front out though, get a custom decal for the other logo side, ditch that weird sticker right in the middle of the cockpit, sort out the bit at the very end of the wings after the guns and work on the landing gear.

And yes, that's all I can think of to criticise. It is very good.

That's his targeting computer - since there's not much room in the cockpit (yet), I figured I'd make it look like it was projected on the transparisteel.

I think it's perfect now! It looks more starfighter-ish! I love the cockpit and the guns!

Well, I think I've finally got the landing gear sorted (not that I've been working on it for ages, I just got a brainwave this moring...) - I'll take pics shortly.

Until then, I'll just remind y'all that this photo gets updated with notes whenever I fix something on the starfighter.
