Barbed wire

I was disappointed with the barbed wire Lego came up with, so I had to make my own. I needed a roll for my WIP WWII MOC.

See here. The quality of the pic is poor since I once made this to show off at ABL some time ago. I've put a German BA fig with BF helmet there as well, for comparison. The edges still need some work, this barbed wire is still in WIP progress. IT WILL BE ABLE TO PUT ONTO LEGO AFTERWARDS.

I'm also planning to make a 'City' version.

I used iron wire. And solded the parts together.

That looks really good DP, have you tried making that with 1/8th inch wire(minifig holdable size)? But I never knew lego released barbed wire...

Nice! Looks very realistic! Now all you need is a high grey wall to put it on...

Or line a battlefield with it!

wait, Lego released barb wire? I don't recall that...but barbed wire can still be brickbuilt quite easily. Just get a few black rods and stick some black hands on it close together and overlapping.

You won't get a 'tube', like I have now. Indeed, Lego released barbed wire, in light bluish gray, and it were circles.

In an Agents set, it's on a gate. Thenon-modder in me says no to this, for a number of reasons. The main one is this. Casting is okay because it's still made out of plastic. This is just steel. I don't think it will fit in with Lego as well.

I thought those were Christmas wreaths...

Yea, I really wish they had long stands of barbed wire. That would be best.
