WIP Naboo Battle (UPDATES: 15th Sep, 26th Nov, 14th Mar)

Hi folks,

At the moment, I'm working on a Theed (Naboo capital) battle scene, but I'm currently waiting for a Bricklink order to arrive so that I can complete it. In the mean time, I thought I would post some pictures of the WIP (okay, it's fairly non-existant, but at least it gives you an idea of what I'm working towards):



Mmm, arches...



The work pile. No points for guessing that most of my Bricklink order was tan pillars.



WIP broken bridge. Eventually, the bridge sections will be hanging off of the technic rods...

Looks very hard. Will it be like the level in the Lego Star Wars Videogame?

I wasn't thinking about the game when I planned this out, but yeah, I suppose it will be. Probably because they're both Theed and they're both LEGO.

Wow, I've got to get some tan bricks aswell! But that bridge, it's AMAZING!

Hmmm, interesting indeed... I look forward to seeing how this pans out.

Nice work so far! You seem to do the same thing as myself; gathering all the bricks of a certain color that will be dominate in the MOC and then piling them close to your WIP.

Wow. This is going to be great Jinja. I like the walks you've made. The archways look perfect, but hopefully you'll work on the base so it isn't just standard bley. The Spider smashing the droid was amusing.

Nice, cant wait to see it when it's finished.

That's very cool! I love the way you made those stairs.

Nice, although the stairs need to be tan, they look kinda burnt-out right now. Looks like your structure's coming together well, and that burnt bit at the top is a nice touch. All in all, can't wait to see it complete!

Alright true WIP pics thanks Jinja! I like the stairwell even though it is a little hard to see Good idea for the plants and pottery on the side. I think you should try and throw in a small river or something. Also what's going on with that other black area? Was it hit by a blast or something?

Indeed, the stairs do look burnt out. Legorev, what was that? A river in Theed? No way! Put in a fountain or two, but definitely not a river!

Not a river but a stream or something that kinda resembles the Venice Waterways...? Anyways, if not a stream I can agree that it at least needs a fountain.
