Modded Imperial Dropship
So as you all know I had to MOD the BP Dropship to fit in the hold of my ISD, in the process I upgraded pretty much the whole thing. Here is the final product of that.
An overview, notice the cockpit is now MUCH more airtight, and a few other things have been changed to make it narrower, also I disabled the ability of the troop platform to swing back and forth anymore (for some reason the canopy is partly open in this pic, and not seated properly against the surrounding pieces):

From the front the narrow profile is much more noticable, and the new placement of the cnnons are obvious as well:

And the cockpit open (I forgot to add control sticks in before I took this, but it has them now):

A close up view of the troop platform, which I modified so that this ship can fit and "dock" into my ISD:

And it still retains the ability to disengage the platform:

To make this ship narrower, required a complete rebuild of the tail structure, I still wanted itto reatain all it's orignal features, and this is what I came up with. I actually like it better as it "locks" in the down postion and keeps the troop platform from flying out when you are swooshing it:

And a final shot of the ship just entering the ISD's hangar:

As always questions and comments are appreciated.

Nicely done. I like how you used the "tail" piece to keep it from swinging. That was a smart idea ABL. I also like how the cockpit is now sealed.

Actually it can still seat 4, the front two just sit 1 plate higher then the back 2.

Woo ABL- welcome back!
You would mod the dropship, but hey it's a much better design. I really like the use of those tail pieces to make the cockpit more airtight. Great idea bud.

Ok, now I get it. How long did it take to build?

Perfect example of how a few simple mods can make a ship a lot better.

That is a really cool drop ship. Could you make instructions on how to make it?
