Purist Commando with E-web

Post  Brandon9 on Mon Aug 17, 2009 10:10 pm

After reading RC "Hard Contact" I decided to try to brickfilm the entire prologue which ment I would need one commando with an E-web so here he is.

Front.

Back.

Left.

Right.

Clone with put together E-web.

Enjoy. Comments are welcome. Smile Fordo Yo!

That is quite nice, and a very beautiful idea, though I know that came from the book. That E-Web is pretty accurate.

I love the E-web. Not the commando though. Razz

Not sure if I'm getting your comment right, but the E-web and clone are from my minds eye because "Hard Contact" is a chapter book and had no pictures for me to go by. Smile

@Thunder, seeing as I just added a lamp to a clone for my commando, I wouldn't want you ooing and awing over it. Razz Fordo Yo!

It looks really cool, but wouldn't the E-Web be a bit heavy to carry on your back like that? Wink

Yes. Now let's just see it on a real commando Wink . Splendid gun, I like the idea of shortening the barrel of the E-WEB, making it sort of a CQB version in doing so.

Two words: Portable Repulsorlifts.

Slap them on to the side of the load, and you can carry just about everything Razz .

Though
Well they are clone commandos if you lived 10 years of you life training I bet you could carry it. Razz I like the E-web design I am surprised you got it so accurate from only a description in a book. Really nice job on it I thought no one else in the cabg read this book.

I would like to see you carry a rancor with repulsorlifts (super rancor, saving the day!). Anyhow, I like the E-web a lot! MUCH better than TLC's poor attempt ( the one that came in the 1st Hoth set ). Which piece was used for the E-web's tube? I think I might know...

That's how they train people in carrying things. They give them a small load to carry across a set distance under a certain period of time, then they give them a slightly larger load, then so on and so forth until they can carry much larger loads. It's conditioning your body to be used to carrying different amounts of weight. Jogging across a field with a light load, then again with a slightly heavier load, and so on until you're able to carry a heavier load.

Thanks for all the comments. Smile As for the E-web, it's totally from my minds eye because all the book says is "Darman take the E-web and hold here." So I figured unless the Geonosians were providing one, there must be a commando who was carrying an E-web. Smile

@Sial. I want to see it on a real Commando too. Razz Fordo Yo!

The E-Web is really good!Though your commando, just a clone you put a floodlight on. You could've atleast changed the arms, legs, hips, or something!
