762nd Riflemen and Banshees

Post  MikeZulu on Tue Jan 26, 2010 10:31 am

762nd Riflemen

The backbone of the 762nd Legion, they are the standard troopers trained in various weaponry and fighting skills. Like any clone trooper, they are fearless, but also enthusiastic and easily motivated, and are ready for any assignment that may be thrown at them. For the 762nd's troopers though, their obedience is only strong towards their own legion commanders, and have a history of insubordinate behaviour against other legion's members.

762nd Banshees

The Banshees are a unique infantry unit of the 762nd Legion. They were "defective products" of the Republic Commando program, and they were submitted to an experimental training program that would not be applied to flawless clone products due to its expense. Banshees perform the same infiltration and special operations missions as the Commandos, but have a greater focus on stealth. They are equipped with cloaking devices, stealthed weapons such as the DA5B Carbine or Vibretta, and trained in sneaking, sabotage and concealment. As such, Banshees prefer not to use their weapons at all, unless they absolutely have to.

All Banshees are female as they all share similar defects.

About the MOCs:

Well, the Rifleman are awesome I think...

The Banshees... the idea sounded awesome in my head, (and yes, they're clearly a RC ripoff) but whenI finished them, they just weren't that special. Anyways, here's they're backpacks, where their cloaking devices and special equipment would be kept:

I just have one thing to say... Awesome! I actually really like the backstory for the Banshees.

It looks like your using white decal paper, mind if I ask why?

Great job, on the decals and the application. A question though, are almost all the clones different? Smile

Why would the Banshees be all women? Would'nt there be a mix of men and women. Anyway, I really like the design of the riflemen. Where did you get all the Episode 3 clone troopers?

The idea of an all female Commando team is very awesome. I assume that they have the same genetic problem as the female Commander in your Legion?

Meh as in quality or meh as in details - 'cause they're not special enough for fancy designs.

Sort of - Vekta is a perfectly normal female (by some miracle), while the Banshees have Triple X syndrome.

I should have explained that better. What I meant was that the decals look a little pale and not really bold in colour. Wink

That's the lighting - I can't seem to get a good photo setup. Either I have not enough lights, too many lights, the lights are too off-coloured, the flash caused too much reflection, the exposure's too much, the exposure's too little...
