Felucia
A fallen member of the 327th star corps gets his small funeral right before the 327th moves on to engage with droid forces. His life was not claimed by a droid blaster.... In fact, it was a monstrous man-eating plant. No time can be wasted so the troops have to move on, not even getting the chance to get revenge for their fallen brother...

Re: Felucia
Not bad, but it needs some more big plants. Felucia just screams big plants to me. Oh, and I love the plant with all the orange legs and ron's hair in the middle.

Re: Felucia
I agree that it needs bigger plants. Maybe you could add some type of birds.

Yeah, a big plant in the corner closest to view in the 2nd picture would be great.
But I do like that orange plant, nice use of the legs!

Purist Paintings. Indeed.
Re: Felucia
Wow, I love the greebling! I think that there needs to be a big plant somewhere but this is great! The red and white plant looks a bit out of place, maybe make the red a different color like light green. Otherwise, great job!
Re: Felucia
Like they said, needs another plant. The plants you do have are great though, you used such weird peices, it makes them look realy unique and good. Very good start

Eh, it's a little sloppy and seemingly thrown together. Not one of your best works in my opinion DY. I think you need some bigger plants to dwarf the troops a little. Also I'd try to cool down with the 1x1 colored bricks and slopes on the baseplate. Try to stick to splotches here and there, and ocasional 1x1 bricks rather than having them spread out and strewn everywhere. That red and white plant seems a little out of place, so I'd also try some different colors there. However I really liked that orange plant and the use of Weasley's hair. Cool texture. I see a remake in your future DY.

I realize that I didn't do too well with a lot of it but I thought the base looked cool... Why may I ask should I use splotches?
And yes, it will be remade.
Re: Felucia
Look at that 2nd to last pic of the creation. Way, way, way too colorful with 1x1 bricks. I'm not saying don't use them ever here and there, but when they're everywhere like that, it's distracting.

All the other points that have been made aside, I like that you used my advice with the orange plant.

All it is is a bunch of jumbled cheese slopes.
The big plants are good, though, it just needs more of them...
Overall, it's good, just needs work.

Correct! Thanks for that BTW.
Well, I'm still not sure that I agree about it being too colorful as that's essentially what felucia is....
Oh well, I guess it's open to interpretation.

For clarification this is basically what I was trying to say DY.

I can't think of much else to say (legorevolution pretty much said everything I would), except that the ground is too gray.

Re: Felucia
Mind if I use that funeral theme? I agree with legorev, not one of your best, but pretty good. Like most others have said, try using a different color for the red and white plant, and use some more plants.

This is great and an amazing MOC, however there is still things you can add. When I think of Felucia I think of small still creeks, large plants that cover the field, and the main colors are green or blueish clear. The red is kind of out of place. Still it's more than I could ever do.
